My family and I enjoyed our stay at Ocean Haven Villa! The villa is bright, clean, and quiet; truly a “haven.”

It was a great place for us to relax and spend time together as a family! We spent most of our late afternoons/early evenings on the deck enjoying the beautiful views and the calming breezes. Continue reading “St. Thomas Villa Review – Ocean Haven lives up to its name!”

Magens Bay Nature Trail on St. Thomas USVI

by Angela St. Hilaire

20150629_074116I had the opportunity to take a hike up the Magens Bay Nature Trail on a recent visit to St. Thomas. I have hiked this trail many times before as I spent over 20 years on this beautiful island; my children were raised there. At any time of day, it is quite invigorating, but mornings are my favorite time. This trail is a 25-acre donation by Frank McConnell to The Nature Conservancy and is dedicated to McConnell’s mother Virginia.

You will see small crabs rolling around on the hike and enjoy the loud screams of the multi-colored parakeets flying overhead. Most of the trees along the way have a name signs that describe their characteristics and you will see plants like agave and the beneficial noni. Throughout the day, nature will display itself at its finest in so many ways! Continue reading “Magens Bay Nature Trail on St. Thomas USVI”
